CIPET Begins Admission Process

CIPET Admission 2025: The Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology (CIPET), a national institution under the Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Government of India, has announced the opening of admissions for the academic year 2025-26. CIPET applications are invited for its flagship Diploma and Post Diploma/Graduate Diploma programs.

The CIPET admission process has already started. The last date to submit CIPET admission applications is June 1, 2025. The CIPET 2025 admission test is scheduled to be held on June 8, and the results will be declared on June 13, 2025. CIPET classes for the new academic session will commence in the first week of August 2025.

CIPET Programmes

The institute offers four industry-focused technical programs, meticulously designed to build strong foundational knowledge and equip students with practical, real-world skills. These programs aim to prepare graduates to meet the dynamic demands of the manufacturing and polymer industries. The programmes offered for the academic year 2025–26 include:

• Post Graduate Diploma in Plastics Processing & Testing (PGD-PPT)
• Post Diploma in Plastics Mould Design with CAD/CAM (PD-PMD with CAD/CAM)
• Diploma in Plastics Mould Technology (DPMT), and
• Diploma in Plastics Technology (DPT)

These courses are offered across 29 state-of-the-art CIPET centres located throughout India. The centres are strategically situated in the following cities: Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Aurangabad, Baddi, Balasore, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandrapur, Chennai, Dehradun, Guwahati, Hajipur, Haldia, Hyderabad, Imphal, Jaipur, Kochi, Lucknow, Madurai, Murthal, Mysore, Raipur, Ranchi, Korba, Vijayawada, Agartala, Gwalior, Varanasi, and Bhagalpur.

Each CIPET centre is equipped with cutting-edge training infrastructure, including state-of-the-art laboratories, advanced mould design and CAD/CAM studios, and modern processing equipment offering students an exceptional hands-on learning experience.
