The  Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has released notification for scientist B recruitment through GATE. The notice has been released by Recruitment & Assessment Centre (RAC) of Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO), Ministry of Defence in the official website rac.gov.in.

DRDO Recruitment Through GATE: Notification Released for Scientist B Posts

The DRDO has released notification for recruitment of Scientist B through the GATE examination. According to the notification, DRDO will recruit Scientist B based on the GATE marks in concerned subjects in the field of Science and Engineering, which include Life Sciences and Engineering Sciences.

Candidates will be shortlisted based on GATE marks of candidates, followed by personal interviews. Only those candidates who have valid GATE marks will be selected. The candidates who aspire to apply are recommended to appear in GATE 2027 because a valid GATE score is mandatory for short listing.

A complete advertisement including all the requirements will be published soon at the official RAC website -rac.gov.in. Candidates should keep track of rac.gov.in for the formal advertisement and prepare themselves for GATE 2027, as the GATE marks play an important role in deciding eligibility for one of the prestigious defense R&D scientist positions in India.

GATE 2027 Exam

The notification for GATE 2027 exam was released on July 20. The registration process for GATE 2027 is open and candidates can apply online from the website gate2027.iitm.ac.in. The last date to apply is September 27. With late fees, candidates can apply from September 28 to October 5, 2026. GATE 2027 exam will be held on February 6, 7, 13, 14, 20 and 21.
