GATE 2025 Correction Facility Open for Provisional Candidates: Last Date is March 12, Check Steps, and More

IIT Roorkee has activated the GATE 2025 application form correction link for defect rectification for provisional candidates on the GOAPS portal. The last date to submit the defects is March 12, 2025. Read below for more.
The GATE 2025 Application Correction Facility is now open for provisional candidates till March 12, 2025. Provisional candidates are advised to log in through the GOAPS portal and clear all their defects to avoid the result being withheld.
The GATE 2025 form correction facility was available for other applicants from Feb 27 to March 1, 2025. IIT Roorkee conducted the GATE 2025 exam on Feb 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025.
Steps to Make Changes in the GATE 2025 Application Form Correction
- Visit the official website of GATE - gate2025.iitr.ac.in
- Click on the GOAPS portal and log in using the enrollment ID and password
- Make the necessary changes and submit the application form.
IIT Roorkee will announce the GATE 2025 results and branch-wise cutoff on March 19, 2025. Candidates who have appeared for the exam can check their results using their GATE enrollment ID and password. Qualified candidates can get admission to IITs, NITs, IISc, and GFTIs for MTech/PhD programs. GATE-qualified candidates can also apply for PSUs such as Powergrid, ONGC, NPCL, etc.

The exam authority will calculate the GATE score by considering the raw marks secured by candidates in the GATE 2025 result. The raw marks, or actual marks, will be allotted to the candidates after evaluating the answers. The GATE score for the multi-session exam will be calculated by converting the raw marks into the normalised marks for that particular subject. The raw marks will be used for calculating the GATE score based on the qualifying marks. The scorecard will be available to qualified candidates only. Candidates should keep the soft copy of the GATE scorecard safe for future use. To check the GATE 2025 result, candidates need their enrollment ID/email ID, and password.
