GATE 2025 Exam Centers Shifted from Prayagraj to Lucknow Due to Mahakumbh
GATE 2025 Exam: To address concerns over travel disruptions caused by the Mahakumbh festival, the GATE 2025 examinations on February 1 and 2, originally scheduled in Prayagraj, will now take place in Lucknow on the same dates.
The decision was announced by IIT Roorkee, the organizing institute for the GATE 2025 examination. The statement cited feedback from candidates struggling to access Prayagraj examination centres due to the influx of devotees expected during the Mahakumbh.
The examination scheduled at centres in Prayagraj has been shifted to centres in Lucknow on the respective scheduled exam dates for the GATE.

NTA will be conducting the GATE 2025 exams on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025 in two shifts. Candidates appearing in the exam must download their GATE admit card using their enrollment ID and password.
Yes, you can change the GATE exam city at the time of GATE 2026 application form correction facility. The GATE application form correction window will be available after the completion of the registration process. The last date to make corrections is November 6.
