GATE 2025 Form Correction Facility for Provisional Candidates Extended
IIT Roorkee has extended the GATE 2025 application form correction facility till March 15, 2025, for provisional candidates. Candidates can log in through the GATE GOAPS portal and make the necessary changes to avoid witheld of GATE 2025 results. Read below for more.
The GATE 2025 Application Correction Window for provisional candidates has been extended till March 15, 2025. Provisional candidates are advised to log in through the GOAPS portal and clear all their defects to avoid the result being withheld.
The GATE 2025 question paper, answer key, and challenge facility were available for other applicants from Feb 27 to March 1, 2025. IIT Roorkee conducted the GATE exam on Feb 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025.
Steps to Make Changes in the GATE 2025 Application Form Correction
- Visit the official website of GATE - gate2025.iitr.ac.in
- Click on the GOAPS portal and log in using the enrollment ID and password
- Make the necessary changes and submit the application form.
IIT Roorkee will announce the GATE 2025 results and cutoff on March 19, 2025. Candidates who have appeared for the exam can check their results using their GATE enrollment ID and password. The GATE 2025 scorecard will be available for free download from March 28 to May 31, and after that, candidates can download the scorecard by paying a fee of INR 500/- through netbanking/credit/debit card or UPI.
The GATE 2026 registration started on August 28 (revised). The registration link is available and is activated on the GOAPS 2026 portal. The GATE 2026 official website is launched. The GATE 2026 official notification and information brochure has been released.

Here are some major documents that will be required for GATE 2026 registration process -
- Recent passport-sized photographs
- Scanned signature (as per the specifications)
- Updated valid ID, such as Aadhar card, PAN Card, Driving License, voter ID, etc.
- Category certificate (if applicable).
