GATE 2026 Admit Card: How to Download, Retrieve Password, and Exam Dates

GATE 2026 admit card release date is January 2. IIT Guwahati has announced dates on its official website- gate2026.iitg.ac.in. Students who have applied for GATE exam 2026 must download their hall ticket once released. GATE 2026 exam will be held on January 7, 8, 14, and 15 in two sessions.
How to download IIT Guwahati GATE admit card?
GATE exam admit card 2026 will be available at GOAPS portal. Students have to enter their enrollment ID and password to download their GATE 2026 hall ticket. It will contain all details regarding applicant and examination. Students must note that centres once allotted cannot be changed under any circumstances.
GATE Admit Card Instructions: How to retrieve password
Candidates must ensure that they keep their credentials safe. Incase, you’ve forgotten GATE password, then it can be retrieved by following the process below -
- Visit GATE website
- Enter email address or enrollment ID and registered mobile number
- Click on send OTP
- Enter the one-time password received on the provided mobile number, and enter
- Retrieve and login to access GATE candidate login.
GATE 2026 Exam Dates
IIT Guwahati has announced the GATE exam dates for all 30 papers. The GATE 2026 exam date and time of the paper will be mentioned on the hall ticket. Students are advised to login to the portal on time and download it before. The exam timings are - session 1 (9:30 am to 12:30 pm) and session 2 (2:30 pm to 5:30 pm).
Admission to the BTech courses offered by IIT Madras are entrance-based and done on the basis of scores obtained in JEE Mains and JEE Advanced. Seats are allocated through JoSAA counselling after the results of the entrance exams are out. Students who clear the IIT Madras BTech cutoff are then required to go through document verification and pay the required fees to complete the process.
Candidates can download their GATE admit card at GOAPS portal using their enrollment ID and password. IIT Guwahati will activate GATE hall ticket 2026 link on January 2 as per official notification.
