GATE 2026 Objection Window Open for Challenge at GOAPS: Last Date, Steps, Fee details
IIT Guwahati has activated the GATE 2026 objection window at GOAPS portal. The answer key, question paper and response sheet was released on February 22 at gate2026.iitg.ac.in. The last date to submit objections is February 28. Check below how to raise objections, fees, and result date below.
How to challenge GATE 2026 Answer Key?
Applicants can raise objections to challenge GATE answer key 2026 following the steps below -
- Go to official website and login using credentials
- The GATE provisional answer key and question paper will be displayed on screen
- Check questions carefully.Β
- Select the question you want to challenge
- Provide justification and upload details
- Pay objection fee and submit
- Keep a copy for reference.Β
Candidates who want to challenge GATE 2026 provisional answer key must pay a fee of INR 500 per question using any of the accepted mode - netbanking, credit card, UPI, or debit card.
GATE 2026 Answer Key Challenge Last Date
Candidates who want to challenge the GATE provisional key must submit their responses before the due date. As per the official notification, the last date for GATE answer key 2026 challenge is Feb 28, 2026. However, provisional candidates are not allowed for the contest, however they can see their responses in the GOAPS.
GATE Result 2026 Release Date
IIT Guwahati will release GATE exam result 2026 on March 19. Candidates who have attempted the MTech engineering exam can check their result at GOAPS using their enrollment ID and password. The GATE scorecard will be made available from March 27 onwards.
