GATE 2027 application form is now open with extended fees. Candidates who were not able to submit their application form can now do so. The last date to apply with late fees is October 12, 2026. Applicants who have submitted their IIT Madras GATE application form are advised to check their registered email ID for any updates regarding acceptance. How to check GATE 2027 Application Status

After completing GATE registration, candidates can check their application status on the dashboard. The GATE application status 2027, shows whether your form is approved or not. Check how to check the application status below:

• Go to official website 

• Login to GOAPS portal using your enrolment ID and password

• The status will be displayed on the screen

• Check and logout

How to know if your GATE exam form is approved or is under scrutiny

• If your GATE 2027 registration form status shows “accepted”, your form is approved for admission purposes. 

• If your GATE 2027 application form shows " Submitted " and payment is received successfully, then it means that your application has been submitted successfully and will go to the scrutiny process.

• If your GATE application status shows “Application Under Scrutiny,” then it means that your form is under review for verification purposes.

Candidates are advised to submit their application form before the deadline. After the registration process is completed, IIT Madras will start the correction process. The GATE 2027 rectification window will remain open from October 14 to 21, 2026.
