As per the latest official update, today is the last date for GATE 2027 Exam Registration. Candidates who have not completed their form yet, have few more hours left to submit their application form. Further, no deadline will be extended for GATE 2027 registration. Candidates who want to apply for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering are advised to register via DigiLocker and complete the submission process at gate2027.iitm.ac.in. IIT Madras has allowed using verified/ underverified digilocker account for registration.

GATE 2027 Registration Last Date: Important Instructions

Candidates are advised to go through the GATE 2027 Digilocker guidelines carefully before proceeding. Here are few instructions to keep in mind before doing GATE exam registration

• If the GOAPS portal displays “DigiLocker verification failed” then clear cache and fill the form in incognito mode.

• Set your consent validity to three years and select verification in the admission purpose section

• Keep photo and signature ready. Use GATE photo resizer to upload as per the specifications

• Reserved and PwD category must create a separate folder and name the documents as per mentioned by IIT Madras

• The exam fees will be deducted as per the extended GATE 2027 registration timeline. Keep a copy of the receipt after submitting.

GATE 2027 Registration Fees

The GATE exam fees for female/PwD and SC/ST is INR 1500, and for others including international applicants the registration fee is INR 2500, and is non-refundable. The fee is twice for students applying for two papers in GATE 2027.

GATE 2027 Application Status and Form Under Scrutiny

Candidates can check their GATE application status 2027 using enrolment ID and status. The authorities usually take 15 to 20 days to approve the application. However, delay can be expected. If your GATE application form is under scrutiny, then your form is currently being reviewed. For defect in documents, GATE officials will personally send a notification on registered email ID along with a deadline. So, keep checking your email and status.
