GATE application form 2027 will be release tomorrow at gate2027.iitm.ac.in. To register, candidates need to keep their documents, such as photo, signature, and certificates ready. Check below for a detailed guide on what is required for GATE 2027 registration, from documents to GATE exam fees. 

What to Keep Ready before GATE Registration 2027 Starts

Here’s a quick checklist of what’s needed while filling GATE 2027 application form:

• Keep an active mobile number and email ID. The number must match with the one mentioned in DigiLocker.

• Update your DigiLocker account. If you haven’t created, then signup. IIT Madras will fetch details such as name, date of birth, email id, address, profile picture, verified ID number etc. 

• A laptop with webcam facility on it or a phone with 5MP camera for GATE facial registration

• A scanned photo and signature according to specifications

• If you belong to reserved category, ensure that you have an updated category certificate (scanned in PDF format)

• PwD/Dyslexic certificate (scanned in PDF format)

• Valid photo ID (scanned in PDF format). These include PAN Card, Voter ID, Driving License, etc. 

• Look for GATE zones and keep at least 6 test cities selected for quick form submission process

GATE 2027 Exam Fees: Accepted Payment Modes

The GATE application form 2027 will be accepted only if fee payment is completed successfully. 

• During the regular period, female/SC/ST and PwD candidates will have to pay INR 1000 and others to pay INR 1500

• During extended period, the GATE exam fee is INR 1500 for female/SC/ST and PwD candidates and INR 2500 for others, including international applicants.
