GATE COAP Registration 2024 Delayed; Now to Begin Tomorrow at 2 PM

IIT Kanpur was set to start COAP registration and activities today at 8 pm. However, the counselling process now stands postponed. Check report below.

GATE COAP Registration 2024 Delayed; Now to Begin Tomorrow at 2 PM

IIT Kanpur has delayed COAP registration. Now the COAP registration will commence tomorrow, March 19 at 2 pm. The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur will commence the registration for GATE COAP 2024 on the official website, iitk.ac.in/coap2024.

IIT Kanpur was set to open the COAP registration today at 8 pm. Note that, COAP is not an application portal for MTech admission for any participating institute. COAP is a portal where the IITs / PSUs upload their offers based on their selection criteria. 

Other dates for COAP remain unchanged. The main offer rounds will start on May 13 and will end on June 10. There will be five main rounds in COAP 2024. The additional rounds, which will be five in number will start on June 15 and end on July 11.

The COAP 2024 counselling registration process requires information such as the candidate's name, GATE score, email ID, mobile number and other details. 

GATE 2024 result was announced on March 16 and the scorecard will be available from March 23. Also, only those who have secured the specified qualifying marks will be eligible to download the GATE 2024 scorecard. All the qualified candidates will be able to download the GATE scorecard 2024 from March 23 to May 31 free of charge. The GATE scores are valid for three years from the date of announcement of the result. GATE 2024 toppers have been also announced. 

COAP registration will be open for candidates with valid GATE scores from the years 2024, 2023 and 2022. In the case of more than one valid scorecard, they must provide the scorecard with a better score or rank. Candidates must be an Indian national to apply for COAP.
