The exam body GSEB will close the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) 2026 application form tomorrow, making January 16, 2026, the last date to apply for the coveted entrance exam. Candidates who haven’t applied yet for the GUJCET 2026 can visit the official website gujcet.gseb.org and apply. However, as this is the last date with a late fee, candidates will have to pay INR 350+1000 as part of the GUJCET application fee. There are no further extensions expected beyond the January 16 deadline.

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) previously extended the deadline from the original date of December 30, 2025, to January 6, 2026, to accommodate more students.

How to Apply for GUJCET 2026?

  • To register for GUJCET 2026, candidates must follow the steps mentioned below - 
  • Visit the official website - gujcet.gseb.org or gseb.org
  • Register to create new login credentials and pay the GUJCET application fee in online mode via credit card, debit card, or net banking through the SBI ePay system. 
  • Candidates can also opt for offline payment at designated SBI branches by selecting "SBI Branch Payment" option.
  • Once they have paid the fee, students can proceed with filling the application form in detail by adding their personal details, uploading scanned documents etc.

After the GUJCET application window is closed the exam body will open the application correction window in January 2026 to allow candidates for minor edits into their already submitted form.

The GUJCET 2026 exam is scheduled for March 29, 2026, and will be conducted in an offline, pen-and-paper OMR format. Admit cards are tentatively expected to be released in the second week of March 2026.
