HPCET 2024 counselling registration starts at himtu.ac.in; check steps to apply

Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HPTU) has started the HPCET 2024 counselling registration process. Eligible and qualified candidates can now apply for the HPCET 2024 counselling process online at himtu.ac.in. The final date to apply for the HPCET counselling 2024 is June 27, 2024. No registrations will be accepted after the final date. For admissions into the BTech courses offered by the participating institutes, the candidates will be required to participate in the counselling of HPCET 2024. Candidates who meet the eligibility and admission criteria will be able to apply for admission on the basis of National Level Tests (JEE Main), HPCET or 12th standard marks.

Steps to register for the HPCET 2024 counselling

Candidates can follow the given steps for HPCET 2024 counselling registration.

• Go to himtu.ac.in
• Click on the counselling form link.
• Candidates will have to register using their basic details i.e., name, date of birth, mobile number, password, etc. After registration, the Username and Password will be displayed on the screen.
• After logging in, the candidates will have to fill out their personal and academic details. The preferred branch/institute also has to be selected in order of preference.
• Finally, the candidates will have to pay the counselling fee online i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card/UPI. HPCET qualified candidates do not have to pay the counselling fee.

Counselling Fee – INR 1,600 (General/EWS/OBC) INR 800 (SC/ST/BPL/IRDP)

HPCET 2024 seat allotment process will be held offline at various centres. Allotment of seats will be done based on the candidate’s rank, preferences, category and seat availability. All selected candidates will have to confirm their admission before the final date, otherwise their allotment will be cancelled.
