IIT Delhi Records 1,275 Job Offers in Ongoing Placement Season 2025–26

IIT Delhi has recorded 1,275 job offers in the 2025–26 placement season by December, including over 300 pre-placement offers. The placement drive will continue till May 2026.

Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) 2025-26 academic year placement has seen 1,275 job offers secured by by students till December 2025. Placement figure includes pre-placement offers, more than 1,140 students have received at least one offer so far.

Increase in Pre-Placement Offers This Year

An important development this year has been rise in pre-placement offers. IIT Delhi received over 300 PPOs, which is more than 33 per cent higher than last year, indicating stronger early hiring by companies based on internships and prior engagements.

As per IIT Delhi, PPOs continue to play an important role in overall placement outcomes, particularly for students in core engineering, analytics and technology roles.

Recruiters Making Multiple Offers on Campus

Some of the recruiters have made a good number number of offers during ongoing phase of placements. Companies with double-digit offers include Accenture Strategy and Consulting, Amazon, American Express, Bajaj Auto Technology, Barclays, Deutsche India, EXL Services, EY GDS, EY Parthenon, Google, Goldman Sachs, Graviton Research Capital, JP Morgan, Meesho, Microsoft, Oracle, Qualcomm, Schlumberger, Squarepoint Capital, Texas Instruments and Wells Fargo International Solutions, among others.

Institute in its official statement stated that participation spans across consulting, technology, finance, manufacturing and analytics sectors.

International Job Offers Across Five Regions

Students at IIT Delhi have also received over 35 international offers during current placement cycle. These offers have come from organisations based in Japan, the Netherlands, Singapore, the UAE, and the United Kingdom. According to the institute, international roles continue to be offered selectively, depending on visa regulations, role requirements, and candidate profiles.

Naresh V Datla, Professor-in-Charge of Office of Career Services (OCS), said placement season has been encouraging so far and reflects the academic preparedness and adaptability of students. He also acknowledged the continued engagement of recruiting organisations with the institute.

Suresh Neelakantan, Co-Professor-in-Charge, OCS, said efforts are ongoing to widen the pool of recruiters and roles, with additional companies expected to participate in the later stages of the placement season.

As per its stated policy, IIT Delhi has not disclosed high-value salary packages in its placement-related releases.
