IIT Jodhpur Partners with Masai to launch BS and MBA Programmes
IIT Jodhpur has partnered with Masai School to launch BS in Management and Technology and MBA Technology programmes for students and working professionals.
Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur has partnered with Masai School to introduce two new interdisciplinary programmes BS in Management and Technology and MBA Technology. These programmes are for students and working professionals. Those enrolled in both programmes will get opportunities to enter campus and access to IIT Jodhpur’s clubs, festivals and library facilities.
After completing these programmes, students will receive degrees from IIT Jodhpur and will also be recognised as IIT Jodhpur alumni. According to institute, this collaboration reflects IIT Jodhpur’s focus on interdisciplinary education. The programmes are aimed at preparing learners for leadership roles in technology-focused industries and emerging sectors.
BS Programme Open to Students from All Streams
BS in Management and Technology programme is for students who have completed class 12 from any academic stream. The programme offers opportunity for even non-science students to pursue an IIT affiliated degree. Admissions will be based on a qualifier test. The four-year programme includes 141 credits spread across eight semesters and combines subjects related to technology, management and social sciences.
Flexible Exit Options Under NEP 2020
As per National Education Policy 2020, BS programme offers multiple exit options. Students can leave after the first, second, or third year and receive certificates or credentials based on the duration completed. IIT Jodhpur said this flexibility will help learners enter workforce according to their career goals and personal plans.
MBA Technology for Working Professionals
MBA Technology programme has been introduced for working professionals from different industries. It focuses on helping professionals understand technology-led business environments and improve leadership and decision-making skills. This 66-credit programme includes subjects such as strategic management, artificial intelligence, digital enterprise, emerging technologies and product-focused learning.
