Exam Scheduled for May 24
The Indian Maritime University (IMU) is expected to release the IMU CET 2026 admit card on its official website soon. As the entrance exam is locked for May 24, 2026, the university concluded an online city selection window on May 11, clearing the final path for hall ticket distribution. So, we can expect the hall ticket by the end of this week.
Candidates will have to download and carry the admit card to the exam centre alongside a valid government-issued photo ID (such as an Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, or Passport). In case of discrepancies in exam venue assignments or typographical errors, candidates are advised to reach out to the IMU helpdesk for emergency rectification. The hall ticket is mandatory for test center entry; digital versions on mobile devices will not be accepted.
How to Download IMU CET 2026 Hall Ticket?

Visit official portal - imu.edu.in.

On the home page click on the link titled, "IMU CET 2026 Admit Card".

Enter credentials - Application ID/User ID and Password or Date of Birth.

Open generated PDF and cross-check all the information.

Save and print at least two physical copies for examination day.
Post downloading the admit card, candidates must carefully verify that the following information printed on the document matches their registration data:

Candidate’s legal name, roll number, and application ID.

Exact test center address and specific reporting timeline.

Clear rendering of the scanned photograph and signature.
About the exam
The IMUCET exam is held for B.Tech Marine Engineering and B.Sc Nautical Science courses. The test is held in a computer-based test (CBT) across 91 designated test cities nationwide. The test will be held for a three-hour time duration and will consist of 200 multiple-choice questions covering Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English, and General Aptitude. Each correct answer will carry +1 each and there will also be a penalty of -0.25 for incorrect responses.
