Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University has postponed IPU BTech 2026 spot round seat allotment date. Earlier, the authorities were expected to release the spot round allotment today. However, an official notification has been released at ipu.admissions.nic.in announcing that IPU BTech 2026 spot round allotment will now be available tomorrow, i.e., August 7.

For IPU BTech 2026 spot round, candidates are advised to keep their log in details, i.e., User ID and password ready. Without these credentials, they will not be able to check their allotment status. Candidates should also keep their part academic fee ready to confirm their admission. Once allotted, the part academic fee has to be paid before final date, otherwise their allotment will be cancelled. IPU BTech 2026 spot round allotment will be done based on candidates’ JEE Main rank, preferences and seat availability.
