The JAC Chandigarh 2026 seat allotment has been prepared on the basis of candidates' JEE Main 2026 rank, category, preferences filled during choice filling and seat availability. Candidates who have secured a seat in Round 1 must complete the admission process by paying the online admission fee and submitting their willingness.

The Joint Admission Committee (JAC), Chandigarh, has declared the Round 1 seat allotment result today, July 10, on the official counselling portal. Candidates who participated in the first round of counselling can now check their allotted institute and branch by logging in with their JEE Main application number and password.

The JAC Chandigarh 2026 seat allotment has been prepared on the basis of candidates' JEE Main 2026 rank, category, preferences filled during choice filling and seat availability. Candidates who have secured a seat in Round 1 must complete the admission process by paying the online admission fee and submitting their willingness to participate in subsequent rounds, if applicable, between July 10 and July 13. Failure to complete these formalities within the stipulated deadline will result in cancellation of the allotted seat.

How to check JAC Chandigarh Round 1 seat allotment result

Candidates can follow the steps below:

  1. Visit the official JAC Chandigarh counselling website.
  2. Click on the Round 1 Seat Allotment Result 2026 link.
  3. Log in using the JEE Main application number and password.
  4. The allotted college and branch will be displayed on the screen.
  5. Download the provisional allotment letter and take a printout for future reference.

What after Round 1 allotment?

Candidates allotted seats in the first round are required to:

  • Pay the online admission fee by July 13.
  • Submit their willingness (Freeze/Float) for further counselling rounds.
  • Download the provisional allotment letter.
  • Complete all admission-related formalities within the prescribed deadline.

Candidates who do not wish to continue with the allotted seat can withdraw from the counselling process on July 14. Those opting for the Float option will be considered for seat upgradation in the subsequent rounds based on merit and seat availability.

The Round 2 choice filling and locking process will be conducted from July 15 to July 17, while the Round 2 seat allotment result is scheduled to be announced on July 18.
