JAC Chandigarh Round 2 Choice Filling 2026 Starts; Seat Allotment on July 18
The Joint Admission Committee (JAC) Chandigarh has started the round 2 choice filling and preference modification process. Candidates who have registered for the counselling process can now log in to the official website and submit fresh choices, modify previously filled preferences or lock their options before the deadline.
The Round 2 allotment will be prepared based on candidates' JEE Main 2026 rank, category, choices filled and availability of seats in participating institutes. Once the allotment is announced, candidates allotted seats will have to complete online fee payment and submit their willingness within the prescribed schedule.
How to fill choices for JAC Chandigarh Round 2 Counselling 2026?
Candidates can complete the choice-filling process by following these steps:
- Visit the official JAC Chandigarh counselling portal.
- Log in using the JEE Main application number and password.
- Add new colleges or branches or modify the existing order of preferences.
- Arrange choices carefully based on admission priority and previous years' cutoffs.
Lock the final choices before the deadline. If candidates fail to lock the choices manually, the system will automatically lock the last saved preferences after the choice filling period ends.
JAC Chandigarh conducts centralised counselling for admission to engineering and architecture programmes offered by institutes such as UIET Panjab University, Chandigarh College of Engineering and Technology (CCET), Chandigarh College of Architecture (CCA) and Dr SS Bhatnagar University Institute of Chemical Engineering and Technology.
Candidates are advised to avoid waiting until the last minute to fill in their choices to prevent technical issues. They should also carefully review all preferences before final submission, as no modifications will be allowed once the choice-filling window closes for round 2.
