JEE Advanced 2025 results have been announced today, June 2. Along with the JEE Advanced result 2025, IIT Kanpur has released the minimum marks needed to qualify JEE Advanced. The JEE Advanced cutoff marks or the minimum marks needed to pass the exam differ for all categories, and this year, the cutoff marks have dropped. Check details below.

JEE Advanced 2025 Cutoff Marks Declared; Minimum Marks to Qualify Drops Across Categories

JEE Advanced 2025 cutoff marks have been released with the JEE Advanced result 2025. A candidate is required to qualify the JEE Advanced cutoff marks of each subject and also the overall cutoff marks. This year, the JEE Advanced cutoff in each subject and overall has dropped across all the categories. The JEE Advanced 2025 cutoff marks for inclusion in the rank list are: 20.56% for the common rank list; 18.50% for the GEN-EWS rank list and OBC-NCL rank list; 10.28% for SC, ST, and PwD rank lists across all categories; and 5.14% for Preparatory course rank lists. 

In the year 2024, there was a rise in the cutoff marks and cutoff percentage with the cutoff of the common rank list being 30.34%; 27.30% for the GEN-EWS rank list and OBC-NCL rank list; 15.17% for SC, ST, and PwD rank lists across all categories; and 7.58% for Preparatory course rank lists.

JEE Advanced 2025 Cutoff for Inclusion in Rank List

The candidates who are qualified for inclusion in the JEE Advanced 2025 rank list have been provided with the "Qualified' status in the JEE Advanced result. Candidates can check their JEE Advanced 2025 result at jeeadv.ac.in under their respective logins.

The cutoff marks for the JEE Advanced 2025 exam significantly increased in 2024. This year, the cutoff has decreased compared to the previous year, but it remains elevated relative to the typical cutoff marks observed for JEE Advanced up until 2023.

The candidates who have been declared "qualified' and have JEE Advanced ranks allotted in the JEE Advanced 2025 result will be able to register for the JoSAA 2025 counselling for admisison to the IITs.
