Safe Score for JEE Mains 2027: Know Qualifying Cutoff Trends of Past 5 Years

The JEE Main cutoffs are of two types- qualifying and admission cutoffs. Obtaining the score above qualifying cutoff makes students eligible to appear in JEE Advanced for admission to IITs. The other is admission cutoff which is the closing rank for admission to NITs, IIITs and other JEE Main accepting colleges. The JEE Main qualifying cutoff is released by NTA along with the result of JEE Mains session 2 exam. The admission cutoff is released round-wise during the JoSAA counselling.

There are no JEE Main passing marks, but only minimum cutoff score to qualify for the JEE Advanced exam. Aspirants gearing up for JEE Main 2027 must check the past 5 years’ cutoff analysis, which will help estimate a safe score to target.
