JEECUP Counselling 2026: Two Additional Rounds Announced; Choice Filling Begins Aug 21
JEECUP 2026 counselling schedule for rounds 6 and 7 have been announced online. The authorities are conducting the 3rd phase of the JEECUP counselling with rounds 6 and 7 for all the qualified but not admitted students. The counselling process is open to candidates ofย Group-A, B, C, D, F, G, H, I, K1 to K8 & L. Check more details below.
The Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP) has released the counselling schedule for UP Polytechnic 2026 additional rounds. As part of the phase 3 of JEECUP counselling for qualified candidates from Uttar Pradesh and other states, the authorities will hold two additional rounds of counselling and allotment. Those who seek admission to diploma programmes through JEECUP must participate in the special rounds of counselling.
The counselling process involves choice filling, seat allotment, fee payment, document verification and reporting at the institutes for confirmation of admission. The schedule specifically states that the 'Float' option will not be available in the additional counselling rounds.

The counselling notice also mentions a Rs. 3,250 seat acceptance and counselling fee for candidates proceeding with the allotted seat. Candidates who fail to complete the required fee payment or document verification within the specified deadline will lose their allotted seat and will not be eligible for the subsequent counselling stage. Candidates who have already completed document verification up to round 5 do not need to undergo document verification again in case of seat allotment in round 6.
