The West Bengal State Council of Technical Education (WBSCTE) has revised the JEXPO 2025 counselling schedule. The choice filling process, which faced errors due to server maintenance on August 29, has now resumed online.

The West Bengal State Council of Technical and Vocational Education and Skill Development has released the revised JEXPO counselling 2025 schedule on the website, scvtwb.in. As per the new JEXPO 2025 counselling dates, the choice filling has been extended to September 1. The first phase of JEXPO 2025 allotment will be available on September 2.

Despite the revision of JEXPO counselling dates 2025, the authority will complete the admission process as per the AICTE deadline for technical admission, i.e., September 15.

JEXPO Choice Filling Portal Shows Error

The JEXPO 2025 choice filling has been extended due to the server issues reported by students. Registered candidates were unable to select their preferences for the JEXPO counselling 2025 because of the server errors on the JEXPO login portal. To address this issue, the authority closed the JEXPO choice filling portal on August 29 from 1:30 AM to 2:30 AM. The JEXPO choice filling 2025 has resumed now, and students are advised to fill in the maximum number of choices. 

How to Complete the JEXPO 2025 Choice Filling?

  • Go to the website, scvtwb.in
  • Click on the ‘Already Registered Candidates’ button 
  • Enter your username and password
  • Fill in the choice preferences for JEXPO allotment
  • Save and lock the preferences in order of priority

The JEXPO counselling is being conducted for 1st year admission to polytechnic institutes of the state. For this, the authority released the JEXPO 2025 merit list on August 25. The admissions will be done as per the JEXPO merit list order.

Q:   How many rounds will be held in the JEXPO counselling?
A:

The authorities will conduct around three rounds of JEXPO counselling 2025 which will be followed by a special round if seats are left vacant. Candidates will be able to participate in the JEXPO counselling 2025 online. For every round of counselling, a fresh choice will be accepted by the authorities. Candidates need to participate in the JEXPO counselling process for admissions into the courses offered by the participating institutes. If the candidates are not satisfied with their allotment, then they can apply for the next round of counselling.

Q:   What will be the mode of JEXPO counselling?
A:

The authorities will conduct the JEXPO counselling 2025 in an online mode. Those candidates who will be shortlisted on the basis of the JEXPO merit list 2025 will be called for the counselling process. Eligible candidates need to register online in order to participate in the JEXPO counselling 2025. On the basis of the JEXPO merit score, the availability of seats, and the preferences set by the candidates, the JEXPO 2025 seat allotment will be done. Candidates who will be allotted seats in JEXPO 2025 counselling will have two options: either accept the seat or opt for auto-upgradation.
