JoSAA Counselling 2023: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will release the seat allotment result for Round 1 on June 30, 2023, on the official website at josaa.nic.in.Candidates will be able to check their seat allotment results by visiting the official website. Also, the direct link will be updated here once it is released.
Candidates who have successfully cleared the JEE Mains 2023 and JEE Advanced 2023 exams are eligible for JoSAA counselling in 2023.
According to the official schedule, the online reporting for round 1 will be conducted from June 30 to July 4, 2023. The last date to respond to the query is July 5, 2023. How to check the seat allotment result for round 1 is provided below. Scroll down for the step-by-step process.

Check below the steps for downloading the seat allotment result for round 1.
- Visit the official website — josaa.nic.in
- Click on the link ‘View Seat Allotment Result-Round 1’.
- Enter your login credentials and submit
- The ‘JoSAA Seat Allotment Result-Round 1’ will appear on the screen
- Download it for future reference
After this, candidates who are alloted seat in round 1 need to report online for admission up to July 4 till 5 pm. Candidates will have to pay the counselling fee and upload the required documents. JEE Advanced results were announced on June 18, 2023, and the registration or choice filling for academic programmes under JoSAA started on June 19, 2023. Here to inform you that JoSAA counselling is conducted for admissions to Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), and various other institutes. No agency other than JoSAA 2023 is responsible for joint seat allocation to the seats at the IITs/NIT+ System.
