KEA KCET Marks Entry Link 2025 Activated: The Karnataka Examinations Authority has activated the KCET 2025 marks entry link for candidates who did not receive their rank. The link will remain open till May 29, based on which the final KCET ranks 2025 will be offered to such applicants. Read below for more.

The KEA has activated the KCET marks entry link 2025 for candidates who did not receive their rank during the announcement of KCET results 2025. The link will remain active from May 26 to 29, based on which the KCET 2025 spot ranking will be offered. 

KEA announced the KCET results 2025 on May 24 along with the rank card and KCET toppers list. However, for candidates who did not receive their rank, the KEA had issued an official notification to provide an opportunity for such applicants to enter their correct registration numbers and mark details of 2nd PUC. 

Steps to access the KCET 2025 Marks Entry Link

Candidates can access the KCET mark entry link option following the steps mentioned below -

  • Visit the official website of KCET - cetonline.karnataka.gov.in
  • Click on the marks entry link option (available on the homepage)
  • Log in using your registration number and password 
  • Upload the required details and submit.

Candidates must note that it is mandatory to provide their mark card (including their including online versions from the official board website) along with the correct details to be considered for rank generation. The verification of the submitted information will be carried out by the concerned examination board. Only after this verification process is completed, the spot rank will be announced on May 29, 2025.

Q:   What is KCET exam date 2025?

Karnataka Examination Authority has released the KCET 2025 exam date on the official website. Applicants looking for admissions to engineering and other courses can check the KCET exam dates at kea.kar.nic.in. The KCET 2025 exam was conducted on April 16 & 17. KEA conducted the KCET 2025 exam in an offline centre-based mode. Candidates appearing in the exam must carry their KCET admit card 2025 and one valid photo ID proof. The KCET exam date 2025 for the Kannada language exam was on April 15.

Q:   How to prioritize colleges during option entry in KCET?
A:

Karnataka Examinations Authority will commence the KCET 2025 choice filling at the official website. Applicants are advised to consider all the factors before completing the choice filling process. At the time of KCET counselling choice filling, applicants have to fill preferred course and choices. The factors candidates should keep in mind while choice filling is given below.  

  • College Infrastructure 

  • Previous year cutoff 

  • Faculty 

  • Placement records 

  • Location of institute 

  • Hostel facilities 

  • Academic records 

Q:   Can I use a calculator during KCET 2025 exam?
A:

No, Karnataka Examination Authority will not allow candidates to use calculators during the KCET 2025 exam. Applicants are also not allowed to carry any electronics devices like mobile phones, pagers and other items inside the exam centre. Applicants appearing in the exam can use their question paper for rough work. The authorities will allow candidates to do calculations and rough work in the question paper booklet. Any candidate carrying restricted items inside the KCET 2025 exam hall will be disqualified from the admission process.

Hi Aravind Yes, the minimum qualifying marks for KCET are 50% for the general category and 45% for reserved and EWS categories. Thanks

Hi, Marks updated KCET portal but still spot ranking is displayed. As per the notice, spot ranking will be announced on 29th May 2025 after verification. How long it will take? At what time spot ranking will be released? If anyone knows, kindly respond.

The rank predictor published may not b correct as this is based in KCET marks only. Where as the KCET rank is actually based on 12th marks and kcet marks.

KCET has opened a link for those whose 12th marks could not b automatically fetched, so RANK was not published. They will get a rank on 29th. Will it not affect the rank of the existing studs?
