KCET 2026 Correction Window to close on March 30, Check All Edits Allowed
The KCET 2026 correction window closes on March 30. Aspirants will be able to edit their names, RD numbers, and reservation claims from the KCET’s official website. This is the final chance for students to fix their errors. The KCET exam for the 2026 session will be held on April 23 and 24.
The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) is accepting the corrections to the KCET application form. Registered candidates who already submitted their Karnataka Common Entrance Test application forms can make the changes until March 30, 2026. To make the corrections in KCET application form, they must visit the official website - cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.
The correction facility is a critical step providing students with the ability to make edits such as their name, RD numbers, reservation claims etc. For the 2026 session, a total of 3.2 lakh candidates have applied for KCET. Check more details here.

How to Edit KCET 2026 Application?
- Visit the official website of KEA.
- On the homepage, click on "UGCET-2026 Online Application Edit Link"
- Log in using the credentials such as User ID and Password.
- Enter a one-time password sent to the registered mobile number for verification.
- Access editable sections, select "Edit Required," and make the necessary changes.
- After verifying the changes, click the "Declare" button, followed by "Final Submit".
- Print the modified application form for future reference during counseling.
What All Edits are Allowed?
While the KCET 2026 window offers a chance to fix mistakes, KEA has restricted certain fields and candidates can only change the following.
- Candidate's name (as per SSLC records), Date of Birth, and Gender.
- Category/caste details and reservation clauses (e.g., Clause C, D).
- Education qualification, study details, and 10th/12th standard register numbers.
- Uploading newly obtained certificates or re-uploading photographs/signatures.
- SC category candidates must ensure their RD number is updated with the internal reservation details (Category-A, B, or C) by the March 30 deadline to be considered for seat allotment.
Fields You CANNOT Change:
- Registered Mobile Number & Email ID
- Application Number
- Selected Exam Centre Preferences
This is a one-time opportunity. Once the final submit button is pressed, no further modifications will be permitted. Candidates are advised to review their application forms carefully, as these details will be used for hall ticket generation and seat allotment.
