KEA released the KCET 2026 Round 2 option entry, open until August 13. Candidates can add, modify, or delete choices for engineering and agriculture streams. The seat allotment Results will be released on August 19, after which only Choice-1 and Choice-4 will be available. Re-counselling is open for INR 750.

Karnataka Examinations Authority has opened UGCET 2026 second-round option entry portal, introducing strict selection rules ahead of the August 19 results.

KCET Round 2 Counselling - Schedule and Key Rules Released

Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has started round 2 of the KCET counselling process. The option entry process for UGCET 2026 courses has started which will continue till AUGUST 13, 2026. Executive Director H. Prasanna (IAS) announced through the KEA social media platform that the portal is now live, and candidates can submit, modify, or delete their course choices online.

KCET Round 2 Allotment Dates

The KCET round 2 seat allotment for engineering, agricultural science, and other CET courses will be conducted simultaneously with medical streams. The provisional seat allotment results will be released on August 19, 2026.

KCET Guidelines for Round 2

  • Candidates are given opportunity to register, alter, or delete their options for first time in this round.

  • Following second-round allotment results, UGCET candidates will have Choice-1 (Accept and freeze) and Choice-4 (Exit the process) available for selection.

KCET 2026 Round 2 Counselling: Document Verification and Re-Counselling

Candidates who have not verified documents will be able to still visit KEA office on Saturday to complete process, download verification slip, and open option entry. Additionally, students who previously exited system through Choice-4 or fail to select choice during first round will be re-enter re-counselling process by paying a fee of INR 750.
