The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has published the much awaited provisional seat allotment results on 23 August 2026. The exam body has released the KCET 2026 round 2 provisional seat allotments for engineering and other courses which it conducts. Candidates must review their provisional status, keeping the following critical instructions in mind. Guidelines for Candidates

• Candidates must not report to their provisionally allotted colleges at this stage.

• Specific objections regarding the provisional results must be emailed to keauthority-ka@nic.in before 4:00 PM today, 24 August 2026.

• Grievances must include justifications, such as cases where a candidate missed a seat despite meeting the cutoff or entering valid options.

• KEA will not entertain complaints regarding non-allotment if the candidate failed to enter options.

• Modifying or adding new options is strictly prohibited at this stage.

Earlier the provisional seat allotment was scheduled to be out on August 19, 2026 however, it was postponed due to choice entry window which closed on August 20, 2026.
