KEAM 2026 Counselling Phase 2 Option Registration Starts; Two New Engineering Courses Added

The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala, has commenced the Phase 2 option registration process for KEAM 2026 counselling. Candidates who wish to participate in the second phase of seat allotment can now confirm, modify, rearrange or delete their college and course preferences through the official counselling portal.

As per the KEAM 2026 phase 2 counselling schedule, the provisional allotment will be published on July 17. Candidates will be allowed to verify their allotment details and raise objections, if any, before the final allotment result is announced. The final allotment will then be uploaded on July 19.

Further, the last date to complete the phase 2 option registration is July 16.

Who Can Participate in KEAM Counselling 2026 Phase 2?

In round 2 of KEAM 2026 counselling, the following candidates can participate:

• Candidates who want to confirm, rearrange higher options and delete unwanted options.
• Candidates who want to register options for the Minority/Community/Trust Quota in Pvt. Self-financing Engineering colleges and the CB quota in colleges under CAPE.
• Students are looking for option entry for the newly included Engineering courses.

How to Complete KEAM 2026 Phase 2 Option Registration

Candidates can follow the steps below to submit their options:

• Visit the official KEAM counselling portal - cee.kerala.gov.in.
• Click on the candidate login link.
• Enter the application number and password.
• Access the option registration page.
• Add, rearrange, modify or delete college and course preferences.
• Save the changes and submit the options.
• Download and keep a copy of the confirmation page for future reference.

Candidates are advised to carefully lock their preferences before the deadline, as the allotment will be prepared based on the options submitted during the registration period and the candidate's rank in the KEAM merit list.

After the release of the provisional allotment on July 17, CEE Kerala will invite objections from candidates. Necessary corrections, if required, will be incorporated before publishing the final Phase 2 seat allotment result. Candidates allotted seats in the final allotment will have to complete the prescribed admission formalities, including fee payment and reporting to the allotted institute within the stipulated timeline.
