KEAM 2026 Option Registration

KEAM 2026 Option Registration Closes Today; Final Allotment on July 8

Candidates participating in the KEAM centralised admission process (CAP) must complete and lock their college and course preferences through the official KEAM candidate portal before the deadline. Candidates are advised to carefully review and rearrange their options before the window closes, as no further modifications will be permitted after the deadline.

The option registration process allows candidates to select and prioritise their preferred engineering colleges and programmes based on their KEAM rank. The allotment will be prepared according to the candidate's rank, reservation category, availability of seats, and the order of options submitted during counselling.

As per the official counselling schedule, the KEAM 2026 first phase final seat allotment result will be announced on July 8, and a provisional allotment list will be released on July 7. The trial allotment list was published on July 6.

How to Complete KEAM 2026 Option Registration

Candidates can follow these steps to submit or modify their options:

  • Visit the official KEAM candidate portal at cee.kerala.gov.in.
  • Log in using the application number and password.
  • Click on the 'Option Registration' link.
  • Add, delete, or rearrange college and course preferences.
  • Save the changes and confirm the final list of options.
  • Take a printout of the submitted options for future reference.

Candidates are advised to include a sufficient number of colleges and courses while filling their preferences to improve their chances of securing a seat during the allotment process.

After the seat is allotted, candidates will have to download their allotment memo and complete the admission formalities, including payment of the prescribed fee and reporting to the allotted institute within the schedule announced by CEE.

Those who do not receive a seat in the first allotment or wish to participate in subsequent rounds should continue to follow the phase counselling schedule that will be released by the authority. Candidates are advised to keep checking the official KEAM website regularly for updates regarding the allotment result, admission dates, fee payment schedule, and reporting instructions.
