KEAM 2026 Rank List Delayed Again; Ranks Likely on June 26 to Accommodate CBSE Revaluation Marks
The publication of the KEAM 2026 Engineering Rank List has reportedly been postponed to June 26. The delay is related to giving a fair chance to CBSE students to enter their revised class 12 marks. The CBSE revaluation was affected due to the OSM scam.
Giving relief to thousands of CBSE students, CEE has decided to extend the class 12 marks submission window for candidates to enter their revised class 12 marks after the revaluation results were announced on June 21.
The Kerala Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) will incorporate revised CBSE marks before finalising the engineering rank list. The final KEAM rank list will now be released on June 26, which was scheduled to be out on June 22, today at 3 PM.

Following the release of the CBSE Class 12 revaluation results on June 21, many students and parents are anxious about having no option to submit updated marks online. The plus two marks submission window by CEE was closed on June 18.
Higher Education Minister Roji M. John had stated that the state wanted to ensure that CBSE students were not disadvantaged in the preparation of the rank list due to pending revaluation results.
KEAM engineering admissions are based on a 50:50 weightage formula. The final rank list is prepared by combining the normalised scores obtained in the KEAM entrance examination with marks secured in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in the qualifying examination. Since Class 12 marks contribute significantly to rank preparation, any change in board marks can directly impact a candidate's position in the merit list.
The postponement is expected to benefit many CBSE students whose revaluation results could lead to improved scores and, consequently, better KEAM ranks.
Once the KEAM 2026 rank list is released, the counselling and option-registration process will begin. Candidates will be able to check their ranks through the official CEE Kerala portal using their application credentials. Seat allotment for engineering admissions will be conducted based on candidates' ranks, preferences submitted during option entry, and seat availability across participating institutes.
