KEAM Registration 2024 to Start Anytime Soon; Check Expected Date
CEE is anticipated to start the KEAM 2024 registration soon on the official website of KEAM cee.kerala.gov.in. Usually, the KEAM notification containing the KEAM exam date is released in February, however, this year CEE has yet not notified the KEAM exam date. Check more details below.
KEAM 2024 registration date is expected to be March 15. This is not an official date, however, it is highly expected that CEE will release the KEAM application form in the second week of March. Last year, the KEAM application form was released on March 17.
The KEAM 2024 exam is expected to be held the second week of May 2024, going by the previous year's schedule. More than 1,75,000 candidates are expected to appear for KEAM this year. Last year 1.78 lakh students applied for the state entrance examination for Engineering and Pharmacy courses.
This year, KEAM will go through a makeover. It will be held in a computer-based mode and not in offline mode. Candidates will have to attempt the exam on computers using keyboards and a mouse to enter answers to the questions displayed on the screen. The Centre for Development of Imaging Technology (C-DIT) will develop the necessary software for conducting the KEAM.
KEAM 2024 Registration Details
To apply for KEAM 2024, candidates have to start by registering with their basic details to generate an application number and password for accessing subsequent stages. Following registration, complete the online KEAM application form, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Then, candidates have to pay the applicable online application fee through the provided payment modes. The next step will be to upload scanned images and certificates as required. Finally, candidates must take printouts and retain a copy of the submitted online form for their records.
KEAM eligibility requires candidates to have attained 17 years of age by December 31, 2024. Additionally, applicants must have passed their 10+2 board exams with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry as one of the optional subjects, securing at least 45% aggregate marks in the mentioned subjects.
