MHT CET 2026 PCB Final Answer Key Out for First Attempt: 2 Questions Dropped
CET Cell has issued the final MHT CET 2026 answer key for session 1 PCB group. The authorities have accepted 2 objections. Know which questions have been dropped and calculate your final scores based on it.
The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Maharashtra has released the final objection redressal notice for MHT CET 2026 PCB session 1 today. The MHT CET 2026 session 1 exam was conducted in 11 shifts between April 21 to 26, 2026. The authorities published the provisional MHT CET answer key on May 13. Candidates were allowed to review the provisional answer keys and raise challenges by May 15. Following this, the CET cell has issued the final answer key for MHT CET 2026 session 1 PCB group.
A total of two unique objections were raised by candidates, and both were found to be valid. The April 24 shift 1 Chemistry question (206802) and April 25 shift 1 Biology question (208473) now have their revised answers. The result for candidates who appeared for the respective morning shifts on April 21 and April 25 will now be based on the updated answer key. The MHT CET 2026 result and percentile scores for session 1 PCB group is expected to be announced soon on the official website.
Redressal Report: Key Highlights
As per the final report shared by the CET Cell, only two unique objections were accepted after expert review. The answer key for both questions has now been revised. The updated questions are:

How to Calculate Marks Using MHT CET 2026 PCB Answer Key for Session 1?
To calculate their marks, students must:
- Compare the answer key and response sheet.
- Add 1 mark for every correct answer in Physics, Chemistry and Biology
- The total becomes your expected scores.
The results will be calculated as per the revised answer key. Candidates will be able to check their MHT CET 2026 results for session 1 as percentile scores.

With 97.5 percentile in MHT-CET, you have a strong chance to get admission in reputed colleges like PICT Pune, VIT Pune, SPIT Mumbai, or Thakur College of Engineering for branches such as IT, ECE, or Electrical. COEP and VJTI may be difficult for CSE. Government colleges like WCE Sangli, SGGS Nanded, and GCOE Amravati are also good options. You can get preferred branches in private colleges and core branches in government ones. Your chances further improve if you belong to a reserved category or have home university advantage within Maharashtra.
For the General HS category, the cutoff ranged from 4.33 to 20.54 percentile for M.Tech course specialisations. Therefore, students need to attain at least 4.33 percentile for admissions at COEP Pune. MHT CET M.Tech percentiles are required for admission to M.Tech courses at COEP, Pune.
