MHT CET 2026 Registration Concluded: What’s Next for Candidates?
The registration process for MHT CET has now officially concluded. Thousands of students across Maharashtra and other states have successfully completed their applications for the engineering and pharmacy entrance exam. Know what's next in the MHT CET 2026 timeline.
The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell has concluded the MHT CET registration process. The MHT CET 2026 registration was extended till February 24. However, students were allowed to fill the forms until February 27, by paying a late fee of Rs 500. The MAH CET registration link was activated on the website, cetcell.amahcet.org. With the registration window now closed, candidates await the next step.
The authorities will now open the MHT CET form correction window for the registered candidates. Any applicant who made a mistake in filling out the online application form can log in to the correction window and make the desired changes before the deadline. Students must note that not all fields may be editable. Details like registered email ID and mobile number are not allowed to be changed.

For those who do not require any corrections, the next stage is the release of the admit card. The authorities will release the MHT CET hall ticket a few days before the exam. It will contain important details such as:
- Exam date
- Exam time
- Exam centre address
- Reporting time
- Exam day guidelines
How Many Students Registered for MHT CET 2026 Till Now?
This year, CET Cell has recorded the highest number of registrations for MHT CET 2026. For the PCM group (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics), a total of 7,32,268 registrations were recorded. This includes 4,52,931 registrations for the first attempt and 2,79,337 registrations for the second attempt. For the PCB group (Physics, Chemistry, Biology), a total of 3,61,891 registrations were received. Out of these, 2,64,019 candidates registered for the first attempt, while 97,872 students applied for the second attempt.
