The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra has officially commenced the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) registration for admissions into First Year Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) and Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) courses. Maharashtra/All India and J&K candidates can apply for MHT CAP 2026 registration on the official website, fe2026.mahacet.org.

According to the official notification, the online registration and document uploading window is open until July 12 (up to 5 PM). Registered and verified candidates will be considered for merit list preparation.

Steps to Register for MHT CET CAP 2026
Candidates must follow these steps to register for the counselling process:
- Visit the Official Website: Navigate to the engineering CAP portal
- New User Registration: Click on 'New Registration' and authenticate using your MHT CET 2026 application number and roll number.
- Fill the Form: Complete the profile by updating academic details, communication addresses, and specific reservation criteria.
- Upload Scanned Documents: Ensure clear copies of necessary certifications are uploaded.
- Select Verification Mode: Choose between E-Scrutiny (convenient online document verification) or Physical Scrutiny (visiting a designated Facilitation Centre in person).
- Submit & Download: Confirm the application details, pay any relevant processing fees, and download the acknowledgment receipt.
