NERIST NEE 2026 Registration Starts January 9
The exam body of NEE, North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST) released NERIST Entrance Examination (NEE) 2026 notification. In the notification, the exam body has mentioned all the dates of NEE 2026, such as registration, admit card and exam. Eligible candidates can visit neeonline.ac.in to apply for Engineering and related streams. The NEE exam for 2026 will be conducted on April 23 and 24, 2026. The NERIST NEE online application window will open tomorrow, January 9, 2026, at 10:30 AM. Students will be able to apply by March 31, 2026. Candidates who successfully submit the application form will be issued the admit cards from April 14, 2026 onwards.
To apply for the NEE exam students will have to fill the application form by paying the fee in online mode. The fee for GEN/OBC/EWS candidates is INR 1,500 + payment gateway/transaction charges, while the same for candidates belonging to ST/SC/PD is INR 1,000.
What is the NEE exam?
The NEE exam is an annual entrance test conducted in the northeastern states of India to shortlist candidates for various certificate, diploma, and degree programs in Technology, Forestry, and Management. The NEE entrance test is conducted across exam centres in the North East.
The last date to apply for NERIST NEE is March 31, 2025. The application process will start on January 10, 2025. The exam dates for NEE-I, NEE-II and NEE-III will vary however, the application form and other events for all 3 entrances shall be the same. NEE-I is held for admission in certificate courses and the NEE-III is held for BTech LE admissions. In this article, we will cover the NEE-II exam for BTech admissions.
NERIST NEE 2024 application form correction process has started. NEE 2024 form correction window started on April 17 and will be available till April 21, 11:59 pm.

After the final submission of the application form, no changes can be made by the applicant in her/ his online application. Request for change of any kind of data such as category, center of examination, etc. shall summarily be rejected. Application once submitted shall be final.
