The exam body, North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST), released the NERIST Entrance Examination (NEE) 2026 application form today. Earlier, there was a notification released on the official website - neeonline.ac.in. Eligible candidates can visit the official website and apply till March 31, 2026. Steps to apply for NERIST NEE 2026:
To apply for NEE 2026, students can follow the instructions mentioned below -
- Visit the official website neeonline.ac.in
- On the homepage, click on the link titled - “Online application for NEE 2026 shall be LIVE @ 10.30 a.m onwards from 09.01.2026.”
- In the new page create a new sign up and login into the website using the credentials.
- Fill in all the details carefully wherever asked
- Pay the application fee in online mode
- Submit the application form.

To successfully submit the NEE 2026 application form, candidates will have to pay the fee. Below we have shared the application form of NEE 2026.
INR 1000 + Payment gate way charges for SC/ST/PD candidates
INR 1500 + Payment gate way charges for UR/ OBC/EWS candidates. The application fee is non-refundable/Non- transferable.
What after the NEE Registration window ends?
After the NEE registration window ends, candidates who successfully applied will be issued admit cards from April 14, 2026 onwards to appear in the exam. The entrance exam is conducted in the northeastern states of India to shortlist candidates for various certificate, diploma, and degree programs in Technology, Forestry, and Management.
The last date to apply for NERIST NEE is March 31, 2025. The application process will start on January 10, 2025. The exam dates for NEE-I, NEE-II and NEE-III will vary however, the application form and other events for all 3 entrances shall be the same. NEE-I is held for admission in certificate courses and the NEE-III is held for BTech LE admissions. In this article, we will cover the NEE-II exam for BTech admissions.
NERIST NEE 2024 application form correction process has started. NEE 2024 form correction window started on April 17 and will be available till April 21, 11:59 pm.

After the final submission of the application form, no changes can be made by the applicant in her/ his online application. Request for change of any kind of data such as category, center of examination, etc. shall summarily be rejected. Application once submitted shall be final.
