NIT-Trichy signs MoU with Datanetiix Solutions

The Memorandum of Understanding will address specific development areas in both organizations, engagement of BTech, MTech, PhD students on project work in Datanetiix for a specified period, support for innovation and entrepreneurship, creation of suitable platforms for sharing industry practices as part of the curriculum.

Institute of Technology (NIT) Trichy has signed an MoU with Datanetiix Solutions India Private Limited to establish a centre for innovation and excellence in wearable devices. The Memorandum of Understanding will address specific development areas in both organizations, engagement of BTech, MTech, PhD students on project work in Datanetiix for a specified period, support for innovation and entrepreneurship, creation of suitable platforms for sharing industry practices as part of the curriculum.

Bala Sriraghavan, founder and CEO, Datanetiix Solutions said that the main motive behind setting up of the centre was to tap the potential of the students in solving real-time problems in wearable devices that are used as smart devices as well as medical monitoring units.

The MoU aims at promoting academic and research collaborations between NIT Trichy and Datanetiix, which would open an appropriate platform for the students to work in industry-related projects resulting in skill development and knowledge sharing. NIT director G Aghila said that the industrial inputs towards product development would definitely help the students to go to greater heights.
