The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the JEE Mains session 2 answer keys 2026 online on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in, by April 11. Further, the JEE Mains result will be announced by April 20. The official question papers of the session 2 exam have been released and are available below. JEE Main 2026 Question Papers & Answer Key LIVE: NTA has released the JEE Mains 2026 session 2 papers. Now, the provisional JEE Mains answer keys and response sheets of the students will be out on April 11. Additionally, NTA will declare the JEE Mains Paper 1 result by April 20, 2026, at jeemain.nta.nic.in. However, NTA has marked the answer key, response sheet and result release dates as tentative. Therefore, candidates can expect slight deviations from the scheduled dates.
NTA has also shared that in the JEE Main session 2 exam held on April 2, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8, round 11.23 lakh candidates have appeared.

JEE Mains Answer Key Session 2
The provisional answer keys and candidate responses for Paper 1 will be available by April 11, tentatively. The provisional answer keys will be available under the respective logins of the candidates, and so will the response sheet. The response sheet will have the answers marked by the students on exam day, and the answer keys will have the correct answers to all questions asked. Comparing both, candidates can calculate their raw marks out of 300. However, these raw marks will be converted to a percentile score, which will be used for All India Rank allocation to all candidates.
If any candidates disagree with any answer on the provisional key, they can submit a challenge online by paying a non-refundable fee of INR 200 per question within the designated period. To submit the challenge, candidates also need to upload proof in support of their claims.
NTA will release the final keys within a few hours before the result after considering the challenges from candidates. If any answer is dropped from the final key, all candidates of the shift from which the answer is dropped will get bonus marks.
