Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) has announced the TG ECET 2026 exam date online. Osmania University, on behalf of TSCHE, will conduct the Telangana Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS ECET) exam on May 15, 2026. The TS ECET exam is conducted for lateral entry into the second year of B.E./B.Tech and B.Pharm degree courses for diploma holders and B.Sc (Mathematics) graduates in Telangana.
What is TS ECET exam?
TS ECET, Telangana State Engineering Common Entrance Test, is conducted by the Osmania University on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education for Diploma Holders and for BSc (Mathematics) degree holders. The exam is held for lateral admission through the Common Entrance Test into 2nd year regular BE/BTech Courses in both University and Private Un-aided Professional Institutions (Minority & Non-Minority ) approved by the All India Council for Technical Education.
Osmania University on behalf TSCHE has released the TS ECET 2026 exam date at ecet.tsche.ac.in. TS ECET 2026 will be conducted in online mode as a computer based test on May 15, 2026.
As such, a candidate do not have anyone to accompany them who can take care of their belongings, they may request the TS ECET centre authorities to deposit the personal belongings for the test duration. But, the authorities will not be responsible for any loss of belongings.

Yes, the TS ECET exam will be held online (CBT mode) at designated centres. The questions in the TS ECET paper will be MCQ type only.
