The SRMJEEE Syllabus is based on class 11 & 12 NCERT. The questions will be based on Physics, Chemistry, and Maths/Biology from Class 11 and 12 NCERT books.

In 2025, SRMJEEE registration saw over 2 lakh applicants; this year, too, similar or higher numbers are expected. This rise can be attributed to growing popularity among engineering aspirants.

To successfully submit the SRMJEEE application form, candidates must arrange the following documents -

• Scanned photo and signature
• Class 10 certificate
• Valid ID proof and email ID

In a nutshell, in order to apply for the exam, students must have passed or appeared for Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths/Biology with a minimum 60% aggregate.

Yes, it is expected that the SRMIST may retain the Remote Proctored Online Mode, allowing students to appear from the comfort of their home via their personal laptop or desktop. However, they must make sure to have a working webcam and a stable internet connection for the same.

Yes, as in previous years, SRMJEEE 2026 is likely to be held in two or three phases. Phase 1 could take place in April 2026, followed by Phase 2 in June to accommodate the maximum students.

As of now, we are expecting the notification for the 2026 session, but previous year, the application fee was INR 1400. It’s expected to remain unchanged this year too. Candidates will be able to pay the application fee using a debit/credit card or UPI.

For students eagerly awaiting the SRMJEEE 2026 schedule, the schedule will be released by the end of October 2025.

The SRMJEEE question paper will have 130 questions, and each question will carry 1 mark. The total marks of the test will be 130. The time duration will be 2 hours and 30 minutes. There will be no negative marking in the exam. The entrance test will have four sections - Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology, English & Aptitude. The difficulty level of the moderate level and questions are generally based on the 10+2 curriculum.

As per the SRMJEEE 2026 exam pattern, the entrance test is conducted in online mode in a home-proctored method (RPOM). Students can appear for the test from the comfort of their home via their personal laptop or desktop.

As the notification for the SRMJEEE 2026 is expected soon, the SRMIST might open the registration window around the last week of October or the first week of November. By the time the registration is open, students are advised to arrange their documents such as Aadhaar card, Class 10 & 12 marksheets, recent passport size photographs as well as payment modes.
