The Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE), Tamil Nadu, has released the TNEA 2026 supplementary counselling rank list. Candidates who registered for the supplementary counselling round can now check their rank through the official TNEA counselling website.

The candidates included in the supplementary rank list can now participate in the online choice filling process, which is active at suppl.tneaonline.org.Β Candidates can now log in to their candidate portal and submit their preferred choices of engineering colleges and courses. Candidates are advised to carefully check the available college and branch options before locking their choices.

The supplementary counselling round is being conducted to fill the vacant engineering seats remaining after the completion of the regular TNEA counselling rounds. Eligible candidates can use this opportunity to select colleges and courses based on their preferences and availability of seats.

How to Fill Choices for TNEA Supplementary Counselling 2026?

Candidates can follow the steps given below to complete the TNEA supplementary counselling choice filling process:

  1. Visit the official TNEA counselling website.
  2. Click on the supplementary counselling candidate login link.
  3. Enter the registered email ID and password to access the candidate portal.
  4. Check the list of available engineering colleges and courses.
  5. Select the preferred college and course combinations.
  6. Arrange the selected choices in the order of preference.
  7. Review all the choices carefully before submitting them.
  8. Save and submit the choices within the prescribed deadline.

Candidates must note that the order in which they arrange their choices is important for the seat allotment process. Therefore, candidates should place their most preferred college and course combination at the top of the preference list. They are also advised to check all available options before submitting their choices.

The TNEA supplementary seat allotment will be prepared based on the candidate's rank, category, choices filled and availability of seats. After the completion of choice filling, the authorities will release the allotment result for candidates participating in the supplementary counselling process.

DoTE will release the TNEA 2026 supplementary counselling tentative allotment on September 7 at 10 AM. Candidates will have to confirm their tentative allotment on the same day between 10 AM and 7 PM.
