TS EAMCET 2026 Registration Nears 1 Lakh; 5 Test Districts Dropped from Exam Centre Choice List

TGCHE is accepting online applications for TS EAMCET 2026 at eapcet.tgche.ac.in. The TG EAPCET 2026 exam, formerly TS EAMCET, is a state-level entrance exam for admission to  BE, B.Tech, BPharm, PharmD, B.Sc, B.FSc, and BVSc courses. This year, until now, 96,892 registrations have been received after the online applications went live on Feb 19.

As per reports, registration for TS EAMCET 2026 is approaching the 1 lakh mark. The application window opened on February 19, and as of recently updated data, a total of 96,892 students have registered for the TG EAPCET. Five test districts have been removed from the centre choice list in the online form, as these centres have reached their peak capacity. Know more details below.

TGCHE is accepting online applications for TS EAMCET 2026 at eapcet.tgche.ac.in. The TG EAPCET 2026 exam, formerly TS EAMCET, is a state-level entrance exam for admission to  BE, B.Tech, BPharm, PharmD, B.Sc, B.FSc, and BVSc courses. This year, until now, 96,892 registrations have been received after the online applications went live on February 19. Of the total registration received, 64,861 applied for the engineering entrance test, 31,918 for Agriculture and Pharmacy (A&P) and 113 candidates submitted applications for both engineering and Agriculture and Pharmacy.

The applications will be available until April 4 without any late fee. However, candidates will be able to apply for the exam until May 2, with a late fee. Usually, 3 lakh candidates register for this exam every year. 

Mahabubnagar, Nalgonda, Sangareddy, Adilabad and Nizamabad Dropped from Centre Choice List

Also, five test centres for the TG EAPCET exam have already reached their peak capacity. The five test zones in Mahabubnagar, Nalgonda, Sangareddy, Adilabad and Nizamabad will no longer appear in the online TS EAMCET 2026 form for registering candidates due to the high volume of applications received from these districts, which are beyond the centres’ capacity.

While registering for the TG EAPCET, candidates have to select test zones in order of their preference. Based on the preference provide by the students and slot availability in the respective zone, the test centres are allotted to students.

Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad, on behalf of Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE), will conduct the TG EAPCET 2026 exam. The exam for Agriculture & Pharmacy (A&P) will be held on May 4 and 5. On the other hand, the exam for Engineering (E) will be held on May 9 to 11. On each day, the exam will be held in two shifts - Forenoon from 09.00 AM to 12.00 Noon and Afternoon (AN) from 03.00 PM to 06.00 PM.

TS EAMCET 2026 admit card will be issued on April 23 for Agriculture & Pharmacy and on April 27 for Engineering to the registered candidates.
