Entrance exams 2026 for BTech admission will commence soon. Details for some of the entrance exams will be announced in October 2025. The exam dates and application form for the JEE Mains 2026 Session 1 exams are expected to be made available by NTA next month. Last year, the JEE Main application process started in the last week of October and was available until the last week of November.
On the other hand, Amrita Vishwavidyapeetham is also expected to release the AEEE 2026 application form and exam dates in October 2025. The UPSEAT (University of Petroleum and Energy Studies Engineering Aptitude Test) 2026 application process has already started at admission.upes.ac.in.
Apart from AEEE and JEE Main, details of other major BTech entrance exams like VITEEE, KIITEE, COMEDK UGET, BITSAT, etc, will be available in the later months (November/December 2025).
Details of the state BTech entrance exams, like GUJCET, are expected to be available in December 2025. Further, the WBJEEE 2026 application form might be available in January 2026 as per the previous year schedule.
The candidates appearing for Class 12 boards this year can apply for all the above-mentioned engineering entrance exams for BTech admissions in top colleges of the nation.

Students are not allowed to carry calculators inside the exam centre in JEE Main exam. Students can use the virtual calculator available on the screen during the exam. Virtual calculators will be available on the computer screen of students during the JEE Main exam.
NTA has released the JEE Main 2026 dates on the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. The session 1 exam will be conducted from January 21 to 30. The JEE Main 2026 exam date session 2 is April 1 to 10. The JEE Main 2026 application form will be released in October.
