UPESEAT 2026 Phase 1 Exam Starts Today; Admit Card, Guidelines & More

The University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES), Dehradun is conducting the UPESEAT 2026 Phase 1 exam from January 22 to 24, 2026. Candidates who successfully registered for phase 1 have to appear for the exam as per their timings. For this, students were allowed to book their exam slots on the website, upes.ac.in. The authority is conducting the UPESEAT exam in online mode as a remotely proctored test.
Candidates will be offered admission to BTech programmes at UPES based on their scores in the test. Students can also apply for admission based on other channels. The UPESEAT exam will be held for 2 hours and will have 125 questions.
UPESEAT 2026 Phase 1 Admit Card
There is no separate UPESEAT admit card 2026 issued to the candidates. Since the exam is remotely proctored, candidates only need their login details to take the test. The authorities have sent the login details to take the test to the registered email ID and mobile number through email/sms.
Exam Day Guidelines for UPESEAT 2026
- Aspirants taking the UPESEAT 2026 Phase 1 exam should ensure stable internet connectivity, a functional webcam and a quiet environment.
- Candidates should also log in at least 30 minutes before the scheduled exam time to complete the verification process.
What After UPESEAT 2026 Phase 1 Exam?
After the completion of phase 1, UPES will announce the UPESEAT 2026 results online. Qualified candidates will be shortlisted for further admission processes, including counselling and seat allotment. The University will conduct additional phases of the exam for candidates who miss phase 1 or wish to improve their scores.
