Kerala NEET Counselling 2026: Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) has started second phase option entry for Kerala MBBS and BDS courses. Candidates can available option confirmation facility for Kerala NEET UG round 2 through official website. Those who want their higher-order MBBS/BDS options to be considered in Kerala NEET second phase allotment must complete online option confirmation by September 11, 2026.

To confirm Kerala NEET round 2 options, they need to log in and click on β€˜Confirm’ button. After confirmation, they can rearrange their higher-order options or delete unwanted courses and colleges, wherever required. Those who have already secured admission in Kerala NEET counselling 2026 first phase as well as those who did not receive an allotment, must confirm their options online to be considered for second phase allotment.

How to Complete KEAM Medical Option Entry 2026?

Candidates have to follow these steps to complete Kerala NEET UG 2026 option registration:Β 

  • Open official website at cee.kerala.gov.in

  • Click on 'KEAM 2026 Candidate Portal'

  • Enter application number, strong password and access code

  • Locate and click on 'Option Registration' tab

  • Select preferred medical colleges and courses

  • Arrange choices

  • Click on save buttonΒ 

CEE Kerala has also opened option registration for NRI Quota seats in self-financing medical and dental colleges. Candidates interested in these seats must submit their options for the respective colleges through the CEE Kerala website within the prescribed deadline. Only candidates included in the NRI Category List published by CEE Kerala will be considered for allotment under the NRI Quota.

Candidates belonging to the Non-Keralite II NRI category will be considered for NRI Quota seats only if eligible candidates from the Keralite and Non-Keralite I categories are not available.

What happens if candidates do not confirm Kerala NEET UG round 2 options 2026?

Candidates who do not complete online option confirmation after first phase will not be considered for higher-order options in second phase. However, any admission secured by them in first phase will be retained. Those who have taken admission in first phase but now wish to vacate their allotted seat can do so by September 10, 2026, at 5 PM. They will not be considered for further rounds of centralised allotment to MBBS/BDS courses.

Kerala NEET UG 2026 Counselling: Fee payment rules

Candidates allotted seats in self-financing medical or dental colleges must pay fee or balance fee, as mentioned in the allotment memo to concerned college and complete admission.Β  Those allotted seats in Government Medical or Dental Colleges must pay complete fee to Commissioner for Entrance Examinations.
