UPTAC 2026 Special Round Seat Allotment LIVE: Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) will declare the UPTAC round 1 special allotment result today, August 18. To check the result, candidates have to login with their registration number/email ID and password. The allotment result will contain details of the institute and course allotted to the candidate.
Candidates who are allotted a seat in Special Round 1 will have to complete the subsequent admission formalities within the specified schedule. These include checking the allotment result, downloading the provisional allotment letter, completing the required fee payment and reporting formalities.

Candidates can check the steps below to check UPTAC special round allotment result:

- Click on the login link.
- Log in using the registration number/email ID and password.
- The allotted institute and branch will be displayed on the screen.
- Download the allotment letter and take a printout for future reference.

Who Can Participate in UPTAC Special Round?

UPTAC counselling usually has 5 rounds and 1 special round. Candidates eligible for UPTAC counselling must complete the UPTAC registration, upload their documents, undergo document verification, fill in their choices, check the allotted seats, submit their willingness, and pay the seat confirmation fee.
The last round of the UPTAC counselling is called the special round. Candidates who have confirmed their seats after last main round of the counselling process are not eligible for this round. Or, all such candidates who have been allotted seats and have paid seat acceptance fee but have not withdrawn in Stage 2 & 3 cannot appear in this round.
Fresh registration are held for the special round. Candidates have to register for using the link available on the official website of UPTAC for participating in UPTAC special counselling round.
The UPTAC counselling eligibility criteria for BTech & M.Tech (Integrated) course is:
Passed 10+2 examination and obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) in the subjects taken together.
OR
Passed D.Voc stream in the same or allied sector.
