The Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counselling (UPTAC) Special Round 1 is being conducted by Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) to fill the seats remaining vacant after the regular counselling and internal sliding process. The special round is open to eligible candidates based on JEE Main 2026, CUET UG 2026 and qualifying examination criteria, as applicable.

What After UPTAC 2026 Special Round 1 Seat Allotment?

Candidates who are allotted a seat in Special Round 1 will have to complete the subsequent admission formalities within the specified schedule. These include checking the allotment result, downloading the provisional allotment letter, completing the required fee payment and reporting formalities.

Candidates can check their allotment result by logging in to the UPTAC 2026 counselling portal using their registration number/email ID and password. The allotment result will contain details of the institute and course allotted to the candidate. As per the revised counselling schedule, physical reporting for candidates allotted seats in UPTAC Special Round 1 is scheduled from August 19 to 21, 2026. Candidates should report to their allotted institute within the prescribed dates and carry the required documents for verification.
