UPTAC 2026 Special Round 2 Dates Revised; Check New Schedule
The Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) has revised the UPTAC 2026 Special Round 2 counselling schedule for BTech and other eligible programmes. Candidates participating in the special counselling process should check the updated dates carefully, as the revised schedule includes changes to registration, fee payment, document verification, choice filling, seat allotment and physical reporting.
UPTAC 2026 Special Round 2 Dates Revised; Check New Schedule
As per the latest schedule, UPTAC Special Round 2 registration started on August 19 and will continue till August 23, 2026. Candidates participating in the round will also have to pay the Special Round fee of INR 20,000. The fee payment window will remain open till August 30.
The document verification process for Special Round 2 candidates will continue till August 24. Candidates should ensure that all required documents have been uploaded correctly and respond to any queries raised during the verification process within the prescribed deadline.
The choice filling window for UPTAC Special Round 2 will be available from August 23 to August 20. Candidates are advised to carefully arrange their college and branch preferences before locking their choices. The UPTAC Special Round 2 seat allotment result will be released on September 2. Candidates allotted seats will have to complete the subsequent admission formalities and report physically at the allotted institute between September 3 and 7.

UPTAC counselling cutoff 2025 is released in the form of opening and closing ranks at uptac.admissions.nic.in. The exam authority releases the UPTAC cutoff separately for all the courses and categories. Candidates do not require any login credentials to check UPTAC cutoff. However, candidates must fill in details like round, institute and category to check the UPTAC counselling cutoff 2025.
The total course fee for the BTech programme at AKTU ranges between INR 35,600 and INR 12.5 lakh. AKTU BTech admissions is offered based on JEE Main scores. However, UPSEE scores will be considered to fill the vacant seats after JEE Main Counselling is over. The counselling process of shortlisted candidates is managed and regulated by AKTU based on which the candidates are allotted seats. The seat allotment is based on the affiliated college cutoff and candidate's preference for courses and colleges. AKTU offers a four-year B.Tech programme in 40+ specialisations. It is the flagship programme of the University which is offered for a duration of four years.
