Are CSE & IT seats vacant in VIT Vellore campus for Phase III Counselling?

No, CSE core and allied seats for VIT Vellore campus have been filled after VITEEE 2026 phase II counselling till category 5. In addition, the IT branch at VIT Vellore campus has been filled up to category 5.

What branches at Vellore campus are available for VITEEE 2026 phase III choice-filling?

Other branches, such as ECE and EEE have been filled up to category 4. Electronics and VLSI branches are most likely vacant under category 5.

Are CSE seats at Chennai campus available for VIT 2026 phase III counselling?

For VIT Chennai campus, up to category 5 seats have been allocated for CSE core. ECE branch under category 2/3 has also been filled in VIT phase II counselling. However, CSE specialisations (Quantum computing and Cyber Security) under category 5 are still vacant for counselling. Other than that Electronics branches are still vacant under category 5.

Core CSE under category 1 at VIT-AP and Bhopal campuses are still vacant for counselling, along with all CSE specialisations under category 1. Also, CSE core along with specialisations under category 1 are still vacant under category 1. Majority of branches, including IT, VLSI, ECE, EEE are still open for VIT 2026 counselling for phase III. 

Choosing CSE at VIT AP/Bhopal Campus

If you are willing to study and make a career in software development and coding, then studying CSE at AP or Bhopal campus under category 1 can be a smart move. A newer campus under category 1 will get you more space to learn and grow with low tuition fees. As the placement is centralised, with good efforts and academic record, students can get recruited at top companies.
